Based on the different asking, there are helical bevel geared and helical worm geared for option. A helical bevel agitator is more powerful, durable, and stable. And they are energy-saving designs. For example, if we selected an agitator driven by a helical worm reducer with X torque requests 11kw power then we may use a helical bevel reducer driven by a 5.5kw motor with the same torque.

Why use drilling mud agitators

The drilling mud agitator systems commonly used drilling mud auxiliaries. In the field, the tank is a solid platform for the entire control system. There shakers, mud cleaners, centrifuge, pumps, agitators, and the like on the tank.

Drilling mud tank for storage. Throughout the drilling process, we need drilling mud, drilling mud treatment and we maintain for better performance and save drilling costs. A mud agitator will help us to mix or stirring the drilling fluid. In the case of rotation of the impeller, useful solid suspending will not deposit.

We know from the stirrer motor and final drive. Combining them to obtain the appropriate turning speed. Where appropriate the TOR, the drilling fluid will have higher performance, better mud circulates through the system.

Drilling Mud Agitator Options

A horizontal bevel gear-type agitator is a very good option for larger torque and minimum footprint. The bevel gear is much higher torque compares to the worm gear. Better performance, higher cost.

The vertical agitator is well used for a vertical tank with a small footprint but higher height.
