APSB series Centrifugal pump is used for transferring slurry or mud or water. It can be used as a feeding pump for desander, desilter, or used as a mixing pump for Jet Mud Mixer. Also, it can be used as a trip pump, and supercharging pump for rig mud pump. All Aipu model centrifugal pumps use tungsten carbide mechanical seal, with famous brand Bearing. And spare parts interchangeable with most of the international Brand pump which helps customers to source spare parts easily. Open impeller design that lowers axial thrust loads, and makes it easier for installation, repair, and maintenance.

How to select pumps?

As we said just now, according to mud system flow rate or the equipment capacity. Pumps will be specified with a certain flow rate tested by water when they were finished in the factory. When the mixing hopper requests 140m³/h compounding capacity we can select pump holding capacity 160-170m³/h. As we know pump flow rate is related to many factors, including head/lift, pressure, motor power. So before your confirmation on the pump, please inquire professional person for proper use

Is there any other configuration on the pump type or drive system? Yes. Some clients prefer the diesel engine for some specific use. Some clients need a vertical pump since the limited space. If you have question or demand on such a pump, please let us know and we'll help you to get ideal solution

How many sets of centrifugal pump do we need for a complete mud system?

One set of a trip pump, one set desander pump, one set desilter pump, two sets of mixing pump, two sets of charging pump, one shearing pump. So we suggest 8 sets of pumps for the normal system. However, some systems designed with vacuum degasser performed under pump feeding. Then another pump is necessary, too. Please tell us your demand or condition, we'll give you professional suggestions.

Centrifugal pump is a power supply of drilling mud flow for many types of equipment. They transfer drilling mud from tank to equipment or from tank to tank. The pumps are almost driven by a motor. The mechanically sealed pump provides longer service life and stable performance. We select pumps according to the whole mud system flow rate, and/or the treating capacity of equipment. But, basically, they are all decided by mud system flow rate or drilling depth. Different pumps holding different input and output port. For example, APSB6X5 means 5'' output and 6'' inlet. Furthermore, the flow rate of pump performs various under different motor power. Such as 100HP motor and 75HP motor both can be fit on APS8X6 pump, but the flow rate between them is different.
