APFI API Oilfield Flare Ignition Device / Flare Ignitor / Electronic Ignition System Gas

flare ignitor of blown down fuel gas designed and manufactured by our company is a kind of handling arrangement used in blown down natural gas, the tail gas from collecting and distributing station of natural gas and from the refinery. And being a kind of security and environmental protection equipment, the flare ignition device can be used to have the blown down harmful gas ignited and burned to prevent the environment and security from being endangered. The flare ignition device, apart from being used in the refinery and gas distribution station, maybe matched with Mud Gas Separator. And now, as a matured product it has been extensively used in petroleum drilling engineering.

Why we need flare ignitor?

Because the gas flowed out is flammable and poisonous the flare ignition set behind degasser and connected by vent line. The line is requested at least 60m. This will provide a safe job site. The entrained gas including H2S, CO, methane, get them removed, and burned out is the safety assured way.

Flare ignitor is usually connected with mud gas separator by the vent line, which is at least 60m. So it is the safety equipment, too. For almost poor boy degasser, we suggest using flare ignitor for better gas removal effect. Even for the vacuum degasser, there is a gas flamer if necessary. Especially, when we drill a gas well.

What can we do for you 

Presently, we have one model flare ignitor. However, there are many options on the configuration. For example, usually, we make the flare ignitor vertical set at the site. But some clients request a horizontal type. For the fuel to flame the gas vented from mud gas separator, there is natural gas and diesel oil for options. The flare ignitor will flame harmful gas by the electric spark generated from the ignition pin connected with a torch. But the fuel source is necessary to flame the gas out of degasser. 

We provide customization service on many types of equipment. What is the customizable option on the ignitor? Firstly, the material can be common carbon steel for some little or none H2S content places or drilling sites, if necessary, we suggest the 16Mn steel sheet to resist the H2S gas. Furthermore, as we mentioned, the installation way can be horizontal or vertical and the power supply can be solar energy or electricity. And the fuel station can be canned natural gas or the diesel oil. Besides those, the control panel can be local or remote control. And the torch height is customizable, too. Common height is 3m. But some clients prefer a higher or lower one.

For the colors, considering the use almost of ignition devices are painted with red color. So we don't suggest other surface coat oil. Red means warning and danger.
